Inspired by handwritten diary of Mohamedou Ould Slahi who was detained by US government for 14 years without charges/trial, surviving severe torture. Mirrors reassemble shape of US government 2,500 black bar redactions in the book censoring Mr. Slahi's handwriting at the time (considered classified information). Handwriting is taken from his book and states 'I ca...a....a....n't bre...---..the'.
